RED!

I had grand plans for Clare's second birthday but in the end scaled back to a backyard pizza party with cupcakes, balloons, bubbles and sangria. Let's blame baby Quinn (for the lack of time, not for the sangria.) I did find time to make some special yummy treats.

Even though it was a pretty simple party (obsessive cookie decorating aside) I felt like the decor had a strong impact. I picked one color (Red!) and stuck to it throughout all party elements. The sangria photo really needs a red strawberry in the glass but I was not willing to sacrifice the perfection that is this citrus only sangria. I'm serious about sangria.
