I am plotting to steal wood scraps from the new construction across the street to make Clare one of these. I've had a few awesome playhouses, there is nothing more special to a little girl.
Who wants to work for Pizza?!?
I also had an amazing hand-made doll house which my mother and I wallpapered in oversized-patterned 70's wallpaper scraps. It was my favorite toy for most of my childhood. Maybe that is a more realistic first wood project.

Having worked in both sizes, bigger is sometimes easier. Less intricate. And I may know someone with the appropriate skils and level of bribe-ability.
But not spelling ability. Skills, skills I say!
YAY! And now I have an expert on board. This will be fun. When you get home we can start designing. I'll start hoarding.
i would totally work for pizza.
I love that playhouse! I have a new blog about playhouse design that you may be interested in. http://aplaceimagined.blogspot.com/
I have loads of scrap wood....but the shipping may be a bit costly. Wonder how much Amanda could fit in her suitcase...I hear she's traveling light in the clothing department..... ;o)
