I tested out some cookie ideas for my aunt's wedding. Her centerpieces feature green apples and her bridesmaids are wearing aubergine. (As I mentioned, Clare is a flowergirl!) My favorite is the little birdies on the branch (an idea from this talented cookie artist) but I also like how all of the different designs look together.
Now, off to Rhode Island!

OMG, those are works of art! How did you know that birds on branches were also on my centerpieces? I haven't told a soul! I did let you off the hook of making 150 cookies while you were here in RI, but will want some of your cookies at some point!!!! That's an order......uh, please? Pretty please, with royal icing on top?
